The Vex IQ Robotics and programming (ages 8-12) is a Codekids’s subject.

The program introduces children to a range of hardware components, such as motors and gear-trains, based on the Vex IQ system—a top-tier robotics platform designed to extend beyond the capabilities of Lego Mindstorms. It also allows students to use the block-based coding language of Scratch to complete competition-based challenges, such as a maze-solving robot challenge and a sumo robot challenge.

Our program offers children an opportunity to think outside the box and solve real-world problems.

In each lesson, students work in pairs to build mechanical components, which they then program and test while completing a range of challenges. Students also utilise digital robotic simulators to further develop their programming skills.
