The Python course is designed for students who are looking to learn to code using a proper “grown-up” programming language.
Students will learn to code using Python and creating fun games and useful applications. Python is particularly suitable for this age group because it is concise, easy to read and has multiple applications in the real world such as web development, app development and other scientific uses. It is the most popular programming language in the world and is widely used by leading tech companies including Google, Amazon and Facebook.
This class is a great introduction to fundamental coding concepts.
Our course at Shelley Primary School aims to compress our curriculum into bite-sized chunks of 1-2 activities per lesson to keep students engaged and learning. Each activity is designed to introduce students’ knowledge of Python programming, and computing in general, in fun, interesting, and challenging ways.
This course will run after school at Shelley Primary.
