Class Details
Students will learn the basics of the Lua programming language, including variables, conditional statements, loops and functions. This will allow the students to add scripts to their creations, turning them into interactive games.
What is Roblox Studio?
Roblox Studio is a simple game engine which makes it user-friendly, intuitive and fun to use. Users of the program are able to quickly get started – all it takes is a bit of inspiration, and you can create the places of your dreams. Once users are familiar with creating, they will move on to scripting. Roblox Studio uses the Lua programming language, which is easy to learn, and similar to popular languages such as Python. With Lua, users will learn the basics of programming and will be creating interactive, fun video games for the world to see in no time.

Prerequisites: None. It is recommended to have completed Roblox Holiday Class 1 (Game Design) before studying this course.
Equipment: Students are advised to bring their own laptop (Windows or Mac)
