Class Details

The Python Intermediate Club is designed for students who have completed the Python Beginner Club and have a solid foundation in the fundamental coding concepts and Python programming language. The main goal of the Python Intermediate Club is to extend and practice the knowledge they gained in the beginner club and take their coding skills to the next level. Below are the areas of study for the club:

The Python Intermediate club aims to do the following:

Developing games and simulations using Arcade or Pygame

Object Oriented Programming & Event-Based code

Data Structures in Python

Working with databases

To master the intermediate concepts and techniques, we recommend that students study at the club for one to two years, or until their text-based coding skills are ready to move on to the next level.

Course Code: Python Club at Rossmoyne Senior High School (Intermediate Levels)

Duration: 8 weeks

Class time: 1:30pm – 2:30pm (every Sunday for 8 weeks)

Location: Rossmoyne Senior High School

Equipment:

Students are advised to bring their own laptop (Windows or Mac).

Students can lend one from CodeKids for $60 per term
