Class Details

The Python Intermediate Class is designed for students who have completed the Python Beginner Class and have a solid foundation in the fundamental coding concepts and Python programming language. The main goal of the Python Intermediate Class is to extend and practice the knowledge they gained in the beginner class and take their coding skills to the next level. Below are the areas of study for the class:

The Python Intermediate class aims to do the following:

  • Developing games and simulations using Arcade or Pygame
  • Object Oriented Programming & Event-Based code
  • Data Structures in Python
  • Working with databases
  • Collaborative programming using GitHub

To master the intermediate concepts and techniques, we recommend that students study at the class for one year, or until their text-based coding skills are ready to move on to the next level.

Course name: Python intermediate class at Northbridge HQ (Intermediate levels – Open for all students)

Class time: 12:00pm – 1:30pm (every Saturday for 8 weeks)

Duration: 8 weeks

Location: Northbridge HQ

Class size: 4-6 students

Equipment:

Students are advised to bring a laptop to class.

Students can bring their own or lend one from CodeKids for $60 per term
