Equipment: Students are advised to bring their own laptop (Windows or Mac)
Students will learn how to navigate the Roblox Studio program, including how to add objects, and how to change values. Students will learn to create obstacle courses in Roblox, and manipulate 3D parts and terrain editor to design realistic environments. By the end of the course, they gain a good foundation in game design. They will get constant feedback from our expert tutors, who will help them bring their ideas to life.
What is Roblox Studio?
Roblox Studio is a simple game engine which makes it user-friendly, intuitive and fun to use. Users of the program are able to quickly get started – all it takes is a bit of inspiration, and you can create the places of your dreams. Once users are familiar with creating, they will move on to scripting. Roblox Studio uses the Lua programming language, which is easy to learn, and similar to popular languages such as Python. With Lua, users will learn the basics of programming and will be creating interactive, fun video games for the world to see in no time.
