Class Details

The Scratch & Computational Thinking Club teaches the coding language and computational thinking using block-based approaches for an easy learning journey. This club will teach students Scratch and Computational Thinking at the intermediate levels.

The club lays a solid foundation for our students to learn advanced programming languages, such as Python and JavaScript. Students will learn computing concepts at their own pace through personally meaningful projects.

To master the visual-based programming, we recommend that students study at the club for one year, or until they are ready to move on to the text-based programming.

Class time: 10:00am – 11:00am (every Sunday)

Prerequisite: There is no prerequisite for this course. However, completion of Scratch and Computational Thinking (Beginner Level) or an equivalent is highly recommended.

Equipment:

Students are advised to bring the laptop to the class.

Students can lend one from CodeKids for $100 per term.
